I'd say a car has to be pretty good in stock form for "restoration" to be better than "modified" in general. I don't think the Satellite qualifies. And while I'd've probably modified differently, I don't hate it, and it doesn't seem unlikely that it's immensely satisfying for someone who might've done that to a $500 used car as a teenager in the '70s but didn't have the $500. Though I do think there's not much I'd do now exactly like I would've done if I'd had a car and disposable income as a teenager in the '80s.
Love that era T-bird in full 200 mph livery.

Having kids, I know exactly why this was done. Parents in the front. Kids in a pod in the back. Peace and quiet up front.

I think you got the two types of chairs mixed up. The wingback chairs look, to me, like a combo of the raceseat and the red seats in that car!
He gave her a 240Z in need of restoration, and I love the reaction
I wish we could find the video that we shot years ago when my parents reacted this way after my sister and I gave them their 1969 AMX
I like that Bruce McLaren's name is spelled wrong. Maybe it was to draw attention from all the major cheatonium this car radiated.
I just realized how similar Scam-py and Stam-pie are.
I guess we wouldn't have a Stampie rule if that wasn't the case.
