The -5 and -7 had them for high altitude operations .the early f4u's didn't have dual coolers . The au-1 was a post ww2 marine Corp ground attack fighter operating at low altitude
The f4u-4 was the first with a four blade prop. The Goodyear FG-1d was a corsair built for new Zealand. It had wings that were 16" shorter on each side
