I took one of these for a demo ride a few years ago. I told the 80 year old salesman that I didn't intend to buy; "Bah, hop in". VERY NICE BOAT. We hit the 3ft. wake of the Lac du Saint Sacrement and just punched right through it, no bounce, no hammering, just smooth.

Bill, as usual, great period pics! You have a treasure-trove of very special vintage pics. With all those great old pics, you should do a regular column for CMS. Other magazines do that quite successfully. I'm sure you have the stories to accompany the pics that could add meat to the bones. Add content about the participants, the cars, the venue, etc. Voila, you have a great column.
