Was the 50s and Yeager was doing some PR tour thing. He and his guys got hammered and started tearing up the O-club on base. No one wanted to handle them so they sent for the Wing XO, Grandpop. Marched in with a bunch of MPs, knocked some heads, then had them all escorted to their quarters for the duration of their stay. Any time they were out for the PR thing they had an escort.
