Not only did someone upsell wheel locks on a base steel wheel/hubcaps Civic, the wheel lock key is nowhere to be found. Probably got thrown out because who knows what that is? (Owner's manual is gone too)
So now I get to do a starter without pulling the wheel off. Because when Honda started making Earth Dreams K-series, they also started using garbage starters that fail just outside of warranty.

Grind a hex on that thing, hammer a cheap socket over it and remove it. Or try a pipe wrench first and then grind it, if that fails. A locking lug on a steel wheel is completely exposed and they aren't hard to remove.
