I saw this guy driving into northern Michigan last friday!!
It's a sea anchor. Keeps your nose pointed into waves because broadsides get you swamped.

Pic above is blank for me, but it is at least framed. The fasted58 pics don't even show that.
For Facebook pics, I usually save the image to my local drive and upload it here rather than linking. Then I delete the local copy.
Pic related (I saved this from FB) - this must have been a helluva ride. They started from 250 feet down at flank speed, and apparently achieved a 72-degree climb angle during the surfacing:

I think if I ever clear my plate a bit of my current projects and to-do list I would love to build a cyclecar.
I wonder how hard it would be to make something similar to that vintage racing elgible?

A tool room replica Bugatti T59 would be eligible, but expensive, and probably commercially available, T35s are Pic below is probably not, but I did no research, see Petrolicious.
