Brand new (1962) Lisbon Lounge at the Idlewild (soon to be JFK) airport, TWA terminal.
(Bruce McLaren in one of the few 60's era street-legal McLaren M6GT cars made. Pic taken sometime prior to June 2, 1970).
Got to commute to work today in my friend's '69 Firebird. It's got an LS3 crate motor, a 4LSomethingE transmission, brand-new 12-bolt, fairly stock suspension but 4-wheel disc brakes with hydroboost, Trans Am hood and spoiler, and Rally II wheels. Pretty neat car, and you feel cool driving it.

Something I expect Roger Rabbit to be driving.

I remember that I saw a Lionel (or similar) die-cast Elf car, and I was deeply confused by it. I went to the school library to find out if it was real and why the heck it had six tires instead of four.

I just saw one just like that today. Same color and all. It turned off the main drag I live off of, onto the other half of my street. They are a Unicorn here! I noticed that one is way way from here.
