In '72 I didn't make as much in a week as most folks do in day, but we still called it work. And the reason I posted is because I'm diligent. Or a dumass. I'll let you figure it out...
At this time, I had bought my first "modern" car, the 2nd Pinto ever sold in GA. 1.6 Kent engine. 4 speed. Stripped.
Dang I loved that car. Finally caught fire. Go figure..
Dang it, I missed 1972 AGAIN!
Here was my 4th new car. I had a family and had to quit racing. I quit cold turkey, or so I thought. I bought this "family sedan" Little did I know it would cream the Vettes of that day. My friend, of the Boss 302 fame, bought a new Vette and kept riding me about getting a family sedan. He was finally in a position to cream my car. One day while we were heading home he kept punching it and wanting me to race. So I finally gave in. My wife and I were amaze to go flying past him. That 4.5 was a nice engine.

Yeah, so I can't post my Pinto yet. I'll be tearing it up once this gets into the 80's.
April 1973: Two World Trade Center is finished. The complex is officially dedicated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Holy crap, I had one of those evel knieval bikes but I wasn't born til 75. Hadn't thought of that in YEARS
That album spent the longest time in the Top 100 of any ever made, like 741 weeks from 1973 to 1988.
