Assumption College is a private, 4 year, Catholic, coeducational, comprehensive, liberal arts college in Worcester, MA.

This sounds about perfect!

Can't be in the U.S. The exhaust exits right behind the front tires. Last I checked, that tain't legal here. But, from what I remember, MBZ did that to keep the pan flat like the original. Wish I could get one!

Edit for hotlinx! Some bad ass cars/trucks

I love these trucks just like this!

Love the front end on these

SCRAPE! Impala with Biscayne rear light treatment?

Yeah, I know I'm two pages behind. And I don't care. It amazes me just how much color stuff there was before 1950. Hell, here's one from the Nazi invasion of the Soviet Union (1941!).

A documentary that knocked my socks off the first time I saw it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KPCl9wh1G4

I think that a lot of it was that even though the big news orgs & movie companies didn't use color film, many amateurs thought the "new stuff" was fantastic. If you look at the docu with a "shooters eye", you can see that a lot of the footage in it seems to have been shot with 8 or 16mm "home cameras" instead of the 35mm "professional" stuff. Most of the sound on that documentary is added after the fact (sez my ex-video editor's eye), but I don't mind it in that program, just because it's so rare to see anything from that era in something other than monochrome.

Hotlink: USS Arizona forward magazine explosion, 7 Dec. 1941.

I'm not much different about this kind of stuff than people who are much younger than I am..when I see it in color instead of in B&W, my mind just says, "..HOLY E36 M3! THAT REALLY HAPPENED!!.."

This is the Nilov Monastery on Stolbnyi Island in Tver Oblast, Russia, 1893, taken by Sergei Prokudin-Gorskii. Before powerlines, automobiles, airplanes, or even the 20th century. It's one of my favorite pictures.

Next I'll have to come up with a car or something, I guess.

Did anyone ever play the video game Oblivion? This reminds me of the large central city "Imperial City" I think it is.
