An unusual one, the Tiger Moth Thunderbird 6, I actually saw this episode on TV in the last year, I can't remember if it was here or on a trip back to the UK. This is the only shot I could find in a hurry.

For some reason, the idea of a collection of the ugliest 70's customized Vettes sounds pretty cool.

Trying to convince wifey that we need a disco vette in our lives
I still can't believe how berkeleying awful Corvette Summer is. But if it's playing I can't look away. As a child of the 90s, the late 70s seems to have been a scary time.

As a child of the mid-'60s, the late '70s were indeed a scary time. Absolutely the nadir of taste and talent in the 20th century.

Nope, and that's why it's not taken on obstacles like that. It's not hard to avoid an off-road roll really, especially on a low-power rig like an old Rover.
My brother in law took his very competent buggy to a crawling competition last month. They required helmets. Any sort of helmets, like bike helmets. He used a ski helmet and came home with a bent and cracked roll cage as well as a concussion. Main hoops on a 5000' trail rig should not be 0.095" wall.
Check out the side intrusion protection on the cage, too. 'Wheelers have a different view of things.
I can't help but think that if you had an incident involving a 5000lb rig and a ski helmet and got a concussion, you came very, very close to having the worst day of your life.
