WOW. That's rather awesome, in a cruel and uncaring way. This one looks more painful.

The Nostalgia Forum is an umatched source for information on times past. It's inhabited by Brits, Aussies, Americans (and more than a few other nationalities) who have lived and breathed motorsports for decades; many have raced or wrenched. It's not uncommon for famous ex-racers to post about some topics; John Fitzpatrick is a good example.
Just remember that the place is a black hole of time-suck; once you're in, you may not get out. If you value your time, avoid the Cutaway thread and any thread that references "personal photos" or pics in general. You have been forewarned.
And where else could you find a pic of a youthful Roger Penske competing in the USGP, circa 1962?

BTDT on a mountain bike, on a trail in the woods with no helmet (20+ years ago, no one wore helmets) and lived to tell the tail. Wish I had a picture of it.
This is the first Can Am race at RA. The first major event. I attended my first run-offs that fall. Moved to Atlanta in early 71 and was at the track for every event untill early 73. So that was an easy one for me too. VIR was the first track I attended though. Chimney Rock my first "road race" event.
Strangely enough, the CSR my dad built in the late '60's out of a NSU Sport Prince didn't look too much different. It was much cleaner to the air though...

Nope, the original car isn't a Mallock, it's the Manic Beattie Clubmans hillclimb car, feturing a 1700cc Ford BTD engine with a turbo. Bas ass enough? Nope, the turbo is driven by a helecopter gas turbine engine so zero lag. Brits do crazy right This is a Mallock

I was fortunate to have attended that race. Somewhere I have the next year's event poster buried in the archives.
This guy is featured on that big piece of paper:

Wow, that has much awesomeness. Think about it, a club car with a true monocoque in the late 50's
