Jimmy Spencer taught big brother Kurt his place, and now Richard Childress taught little brother Kyle his place.

it has been increasingly common for people to not just move out of Kyle's way on the track and actually fight him for positions- with him always saying how unfair it is- and that is spilling over to pit road and the garage area where people are more and more willing to show him what's what.

Well, Childress did warn him about damaging his cars last year. I don't understand why he didn't do it after he wrecked Harvick at Darlington. If I was Busch, I wouldnt want to talk about getting beat up by an old man.

I lost a bit of respect for Childress there. A man that has had Dale Sr and Harvick on the payroll for 30 years should understand a driver that has no regard for other people's equipment. As for getting beat up by an old man Kyle did the right thing by not hitting back, elder abuse is a terrible thing.

Who are these Spencers and Childresses (sure that wasn't childless?) you speak of? And for crying out loud, will you stop blaming Bush for everything! It's been 2-1/2 years!

Richard Childress is the last guy in the Nascar garage that should be getting mad about vehicle damage. Dale Earnhardt destroyed more of his competitors cars than probably anyone else in the Cup series. I don't see where Kyle did anything that warranted being attacked. Childress attacks Busch, but the general attitude is making Busch out to be the bad guy. I guess the popular thing to do is just blame Kyle for everything that goes wrong these days. I am surprised that Nascar was actually considering evicting Childress from the race track, and it'll be interesting to see what fines/penalties Nascar does hand out.

Bush has a connection to the oil companies, so he profits from Nascar gas guzzlers. I hear he is pushing for 9-liter blocks next season.

Yeah, but Earnhardt was wrecking OTHER people cars, not Childressesesess.

Maybe Kyle is wanting to be the new "Intimidator". His driving style is similar.

Hope he has some friends in big corn too, they've gone back to their roots with a trunk full off alcohol

I think Childress should have been put in his place, because regardless of age, he should know better.

$150k penalty to Childress. I didn't see the incident so don't have any opinions.

Dale Sr raced you hard and wasn't afraid to move you out of the way during a race if you were between him and a victory, but once he took the checkered flag, he was done. he might put a small donut on the side of a competitor's car as a sign of respect after a hard fought battle during the race, but he never wrecked anyone or did any amount of damage after a race..

Kyle didn't like that the Childress driver beat him and didn't just move aside when he wanted to get thru -so he went up beside him on the cool down lap and hit the side of his truck hard enough to bend the sheetmetal and put out a pretty good cloud of tire smoke. keep in mind that this was a fight for 5th place and Kyle isn't even eligible to earn championship points in the truck series, anyways..

Missed all of this, but I will say that the only nascar driver more 'lady-like' than Jeff Gordon getting his ass kicked doesn't really surprise me at all. Also: Not a big nascar fan in it's current configuration, but I'm pretty sure comparing that little pansy to Dale Earnhardt would also warrant an as whoopin' in certain circles.

Truer words were never spoken. Earnhardt did nothing but destroy cars, and NASCAR did everything but give his competition a penalty to help him do it. Anything to help ratings.

It's all about the Benjamins Baby.

You know it is funny but the way I see the whole kyle bush thing is usually has the faster car he masterfully bumps the slower car so it gets loose but doesn't crash makes the pass. The crybaby in said slower car usually retaliated against bush by crashing him out. I think that childress and everybody else is tired of getting beat and rather than beating him on the racetrack they take out there frustration in other ways. That said the whole race car as a weapon thing in nascar is idiotic to me and it probably only a matter of time before somebody gets killed.

Dale Sr. earned the name, "Hammerhead" for a reason and it wasn't because his eyes were far apart....

Wrecking someone blatantly during a race isn't more acceptable than wrecking someone after a race. Remember Bristol '99? Earnhardt spun Terry Labonte from the lead, but Labonte didn't hit anything. Then this happened. Go to the 1:00 mark for the restart.

That makes twice Earnhardt spun Labonte from the lead inside of 10 laps. That was maybe the only time I ever completely lost respect for Earnhardt. Terry had by far the faster car, and Dale couldn't handle it.

That was Earnhardts favorite move. Saw him do it numerous times. 'go straight a tick farther than the other car"

never had much use for Sr (or Ralph or Jr for that matter) but it turned to actual disrespect for him after that.. to bad the middle fingers and the boos from the crowd didn't follow him on down his career ... if people would remember him for what he actually was instead of what he's become ......

I didn't see the race or any footage of either incident, but I do support violence against Kyle Bush.
