Cubs Win

We are Sox fans four generations deep. Not that crazy about going to a Cubs game.

We went to a Cubs game today and had a blast. Last place Cubbies beat the first place Dodgers.

Happy wife, happy life. That is all.

Did you see my brother there? He was sitting in left center.

I did see him 'cause he threw the ball back in.

Chicago Cubs, possibly the only team a Mets fan can talk E36 M3 about.

Maybe in another 106 years they might win another series.

Last place team - the place was packed. The owner's cash register is stuffed.

When the White Sox have been in 1st place and have a chance? The place is lucky to be 50% full.

Don't worry.

The Cubs are infinitely qualified to screw it up better next time.

They start every season 50games below .500.....and the only sure bet with the cubs is that they won't be in the world series.

I'm a life long White Sox fan also, but everyone needs to make a trip to Wrigley. The field is cool to see and the neighborhood around it is a lot of fun, even with all those goofy cub fans!:D

Back in the 1970's I went to a Cubs double header and sat in the bleachers. My back hurts thinking about it.

I had to slow that down to see if I could find him. I didn't see my brother, but I think I saw my nephew.

I was in the highest seat roughly above the bullpen catcher, third base side. Turned out to be a great game, and the rain cooperated after the 4th inning.

Then we went out in Wrigleyville, then went to the hotel, then back out in Wrigleyville until 3AM. I'm exhuasted, and I wasn't even drinking.

Our local minor league team was part of the Cubs system. I say "was" because last week the Cubs moved north. Looks like we're now part of the Reds. I'm not a huge baseball fan, but I enjoy going to the games.
