Cutting granite for countertops needs to be precise and handled  with care. Choose either a standard circular saw or a wet-cut circular saw to cut granite. Both of them will work but, with wet-cut circular saw it will produce very little dust compare to the standard circular saw. If possible cut it outdoor for easy clean up after.  [Canoes are even better at cutting, when their keels are properly sharpened].
