He been not acting like himself lately. I can't remember him being an shiny happy person for at least a couple of weeks. Is this proof that aliens replaced him with a double in their planned take over of earth?

I did, the island kind. This has been my morning walk for a few weeks now, tough to be angry if you start like this :)
In reply to Steve_Jones :
That does help for sure.
Island adjustments should be required for everyone.

Yearly at minimum

Buying a house on an island is the best thing I ever did for my mental health. I know I'm lucky to be able to have done so. It's really frustrating to have one and not be allowed in the country for 2 years ( I know, seems odd to complain about).

Yeah 1st world problems but from what it looks like, you worked hard to earn what you have. Enjoy!

Oh he's been acting exactly as expected ......it's Z31 that's the a$$hat ....good on you bro peace out late
I speak with Steve off of here, and you guys might be surprised. He's a solid dude. He was a huge help in assisting getting the project 323 over to Ed's. He has attended the services of members here who we've lost, yet he hadn't personally met. He checks in with me when I have reoccurrences and additional surgeries. (I may get read the riot act by him for sharing that all with the board).
Digital communication may not be the best medium for him, as often it can come off more direct and heavy handed and it causes the reader to be like, whoa wtf, when the message being communicated can actually have some levels of conceptual agreement.
And 1st world problem or not, but if I had a spot on a remote tropical paradise that I couldn't get to for two years, and I couldn't air bnb it for 2 years, I would've been a little hot about it. But in the grand scheme of things, it's an inconvenience.

I'll be honest my interactions with him the last couple of weeks have made me say hmmm maybe I was wrong. It takes a lot for me to totally decide that someone is a person that I'm unwilling to interact with. Steve was nowhere near that but I was leary.

Also as you know I like to talk E36 M3 and the change I noticed in him was worthy of some E36 M3 talking.
I just love you all. I don't read too far into your written words, I judge you based on the vehicle you drive. Like a normal person.

Thanks for the background. If anyone is going to understand a soft-hearted person who works mainly in the background and comes off way too strong on the internet, you would think it would be me, but life is not that straightforward. Or kind. Once again, I am reminded to practice patience.

All that work cementing my shiny happy person status - gone.
I'm gonna drag that 323 back to where I found it when you're not looking.
It's all good, sun just dropped, all in all, not a bad day
On a related note, anyone hear from wearymicrobe lately? I reached out last week, no reply.

Does it help or hurt me that most of mine aren't drivable?
Difficulty: GRM
In reply to Stampie :
I suspect that it likely helps, as once they're driveable they may manage to beat a borrowed car on crap tires in dynamic score.
(I really appreciate that you enjoy E36 M3 talking)
In reply to Captdownshift (Forum Supporter) :
I'm sorry that you made bad life choices in loaning your Challenge car. Maybe you can do better next time.
In reply to Stampie :
Nonsense, it was an excellent decision. There's no excuse for me not to get down there myself now.
In reply to Captdownshift (Forum Supporter) :
To be honest I think Curtis ran it better than it's owner could have. You know that don't give a berk attitude. You should have just put better tires on it. Then just maybe you could have beat a 1985 Buick Riviera.

On a serious note, I want to see how our numbers compare, Capt. I think you'll trample my numbers.
