Did the search box dissapear?

I suspect that making it disappear was easier than fixing it?

Removal wasn't necessarily easier, but it's a problem that's already been fixed for the new Classic Motorsports site (coming to screens near you this October, sneak preview available to those who are super curious) and it made more sense to remove it for now since the GRM site rework will be coming immediately after.

If you're looking for something, here's an alternative that works better than the Yahoo-powered site search ever did.

Also worth noting (and different since yesterday):
The "latest classifieds" block is gone from the left side of the forums.
I made Steve C's day by adding some extra banner space where the classifieds block used to be
*A script error in the events pages have been fixed, making event creation, event management, and goodie bag fulfillment not only possible, but downright painless.
