Internationally? My sister lives in Galicia, Spain so for the hell of it I Googled classified ads there. It listed FB so I accessed it using Madrid as my search location. Didn't find anything, but it makes me wonder what options there might be for the rest of The Hive...
Be careful with that, I have a friend who claims to be banned from Marketplace for messing with his location too much.
I was just in Germany, did some browsing.
Yes.
I occasionally hunt for 5 speed Mexican Ramchargers and other MoPar oddities that were only sold south of the border.
In reply to Russian Warship, Go Berkeley Yourself :
Brilliant!
Now I just need to find a Canadian RGV250 Suzuki!
The ability to expand my search area to 500 miles is cool when I want to search for unicorns. I can cover the entire US with about 6 searches. Just wish their searching was a little boolean and that they didn't force sellers into a specific make/model because they don't cover them all. At least they have an option to search just manual transmissions. Still don't like that they're the only real search around these days now that CL went to pay for ads.

If shipping wasn't so high, I'd hit Australia for a nice vintage Ute.
I did some browsing in Germany and Netherlands a few years ago. Looking for oddball audio equipment. So glad I didn't find anything lol
Search Tempest now has a FB MP feature. It works not terribly, which is to say, better than the FB MP search.
How do you get alerts when so 'n so kind of vehicle pops up anywhere n the country?

I've noticed recently that a lot of cars that are manual are listed automatic. It is too many cars and too many detailed, coherent adcopies that I'm forced to conclude that Marketplaces has berkeleyed it up somehow. So I believe you get basically only manuals with your search, but are missing out on some potentially good options.

I have noticed a couple times when listing cars that I select manual in the options and go through to write the copy and add pictures. When I double check everything before posting it has defaulted back to automatic. I assume some of the discrepancies are people selecting the correct options but not double checking that it didn't change before posting.
