Do you have a pet?

This is our dog. We found her in the woods almost starved to death when we were hiking. She has attachment issues. And bad eyesight. And doesn't like men much. And I think she's fundamentally not very smart. My wife loves her. 

Just one dog for me. This is Moose and he's a 6 year old, 15 pound toy poodle.

He's a very good boy!

We live with two cats: Luke (3) on the left and Tuffy (4) on the right.

They are the latest in a succession of cats, all adopted from a shelter.  Most of the previous ones have lived to 17-18 years old, so I expect these two to be around a while.  All of the other ones have been very chilled out.  Eat, sleep and watch out the window some.  Not these two.  Luke prowls all day and Tuffy prowls all night.  When the doorbell rings they go in opposite directions.  Luke to hide somewhere and Tuffy to the door to see who is there.   Every repairman/handyman who comes here eventually will reach in his tool bag and come up with a handful of Tuffy.

That's Sunny being patient w/ the neighborlings. He's a 12 year old Husky/GR mix. I don't really have the words to express how much he means to me. You know how when you're in a room and there's someone there who's personality is just sort of magic and completely draws everyone's attention, even when they're just chilling, minding their own business? He's that, in dog form.

We have 2 rescue Salukis from Kuwait, Heidi and Vesper. 

One rescue greyhound from Florida. 

And a Saluki-Whippet mix from Qatar.

This is Taylor.  Rescue dog, unknown mix, 8 yrs old, about 45 lbs.  ferocious bark, sounds like she'd eat your face and E36 M3 in your faceless skull.  Sweet girl.  AFAIK she's never eaten anyone's face.

Buttons.  She’s not fat she’s just big boned.

Buttons and Sparky Ned the one eyed wonder dog.  He is clumsy and somewhat accident prone,  but he’s a great dog.

Ozzie and Wally.  They’re brothers and showed up together.

We have more...I just need to get better pictures.  All of them were abandoned and just showed up with various needs,  several needing a lot of vet care,  including surgeries to get them healthy,  but they’re all happy now.

Our dog "Alma" has some Puli in her (we did one of those doggy DNA tests on our dogs as kind of a joke.  They nailed the results though)
