Global = Silly Car Club of the Anonymous owns the term Rallycross for dirty autocross in this country, so the sport known as Rallycross in the rest of the world can't call itself rallycross here, so they need to call it something else but still recognizable, hence 'Global Rallycross' Don't blame them blame the Secret Car Club of the Afflicted.

Except it isn't like Rallycross in the rest of the world. It's pro teams with piles of cash that you can go watch. Not something that a person on a budget could build a car for and compete in a few events.
