(ducks)....

Still browsing for my next non-motorcycle compliant weather day driver. How well do E30's do in the snow? assuming good snow tires and weight in the trunk?

I had an 84 325e and it was wonderful in the snow. Easy to get around but still fun if wanted to go that route.

I'd think proper tires + a good working LSD and it would be just fine.

Good tires (on all four corners) and maybe some sand in the trunk, and you should be fine. If you can find one with heated seats, that's a nice little plus on really cold mornings.

Of course, there's always the all wheel drive 325iX if you want to get serious. I have two of them, and they're pretty much unstoppable in the snow.
