I wouldn't praise his efficiency...maybe his motivational speaking...and as much as I despise the man, he did set into motion one of the greatest eras of motorsport "Silver Arrows FTW"

A friend of mine was a F1 photographer. He was at a meeting with Ecclestone where a news media organization asked Ecclestone for permission to film the pit crews to provide better coverage and promotion of the event. Ecclestone said "Sure, if you give me five thousand dollars in cash right now." The new organization didn't have five large in cash to give him right there, and no receipt wouldn't have gone over too well with their bean counting anyway. He said "Denied."

Ass Hat said: But when he was subsequently informed that the World Jewish Congress had called for his resignation, Ecclestone reacted again. 'It's a pity they didn't sort the banks out,' he said. ' When asked to elaborate he countered: ' They have a lot of influence everywhere.'

And which race would this be?

Reminds me of the republican office worker who sent out a possibly racist (definitely un-PC at least) chain letter about Obama. Her apology: "Sorry I sent it to the wrong list of people"
