I really enjoyed it, I highly doubt it will be picked up by anyone in North America for cable due to the in depth content and/or the fact discovery is buying up a large amount of networks here as of late.  Somehow I could see the BBC trying to pick it up to try and get back what they lost from the top gear fiasco (yes I know they still have top gear and it is getting better but they still lost a E36 M3 ton of people they have yet to get back.)

Is it just me, or did it seem like a version of Garage Squad, only better (because Edd China), and apparently sponsored by Volkswagen?

It's not a new concept, for sure.  Just his take on it.  There were a lot of VW tie-ins, so it's possible they provided some financial backing.

The sad part is I am liking Ant on wheeler Dealers better than Ed on that show. I did not hate Ed I think he was out the door for the last couple of seasons and that was coming through.

I hope his new show does well. BBC would be a good place for it with TG being what it is now.

I would totally watch some more episodes like the pilot.  Part of the fun as an American was seeing some forbidden fruit type cars that were only available in Europe.  The Mk1 GTI isn't really one, but they did some nice editing and kept my interest.

I liked the pilot. It’s how GarageSquad should have been. Kick-starting dead projects without throwing in a crate engine and a set of torque thrust wheels.

So it appears that Ed's plans have changed- he's now part of a new show - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClJeuMpHS_J8nQi3pcH2K9Q/featured

And they are doing a long series restoring an 1.5 series E-Type.  Which looks just about as bad as the Restoration Impossible that CM did.

I thought Garage Revival was alright. I'd have stuck around, at least on Youtube, for a show with that format.

Interested to see where Built By Many goes, that thing looks pretty haggard.

I think he's going to do both shows.

Did anybody else flashback to watching the GTI jump commercials as a teen thinking it must be a German General Lee that you can buy at a dealer and maybe a bit less conspicuous? Oh, and that car looks miniscule with Edd standing next to it

I think they need to get a better social media coordinator for the Built by Many program/channel.  I happened to stumble across this video on Edd's channel, but it's not listed in the actual BbM channel.

Expands a bit on what the show will be about.
