Snowdoggie, if you want to see virulent personal attacks, got to rx7club.com and sign up for the DoO (Difference of Opinion). You have to sign up for it and be approved, BTW. (I'm grandfathered in from a long time ago.) Once you get there, ask around about YZFR1. Or put in something real liberal and wait for jhammons, if you prefer post something right wingy and wait for mar3 (who's also now a board moderator). They'll come sniffing around after you and when they get done you'll come running back to the protective embrace and relative sanity of the GRM board.

Jensen, you have never attacked me personally. You don't do that, even when we differ. In fact, you once told me here what I needed to know to get my Jeep running again and I appreciate that.

I actually think that most of the Obammie Commie gifs are funny as are the Gore jokes. Hell, I think Poopshovel is funny, and not just for his moniker.

I'm just tired of some of the personal attacks that go beyond political discussion. Yep. I know a few political sites out there where they will strongly suggest that your grandmother is another species and I can trade insults with the best of them if I want to. The question is, do I really want to.

I'm not really bolting as much as I am just taking a vacation from the keyboard for a while.

i can kind of understand poopy's feelings on that one. If you had a business and an employee actively tried to make your business fail, or through their actions (intentional or not) caused your business to incur vastly increased costs for whatever reason, that made it harder to do business or head toward failure, you'd fire them, and use the reason for firing them be that activity.

I can see that for a business owner, it would be easy to feel that there is no functional difference between taking cash out of the till and giving it to your buds, and voting to have the government do it.

McCain 08 got more votes than Bush 04. It wasn't that they didn't go vote its just that the Democrats had a larger increase. Maybe it was complacency, I don't know the facts but I seem to remember a similar phenomena in 2000, only on the other side. Too many years of one sided politics gets the other side out in droves.

He's been banned about 20 times from what I understand. Every so often he pops back up from a different computer and under a different user name. The last religious flame war he started (at least the last one I am aware of) allegedly had the cops involved. I was a bit player in that one, he PMed me and said he was a tool of the Lord meant to handle heathens in any way neccessary.
