Engineering contract work

I know there are a few engineer types here.

My wife is a chem engineer and is interested in contract work but not in travel. Where would be a good place to look for this kind of situation?

The recruiting agencies are a good suggestion.

I'd also recommend using linked in to find once in your area that are well versed in her field.

I suspect that a careful review of the connections of some of the people shes connected with would be recruiters that would be helpful and local. Especially the connections she has that were responsible for hiring people to staff their projects/dept.
