I made the front page of the paper when I was 16 and nearly killed in a car wreck. You get one helicopter ride and suddenly you're a superstar.

Then last year I got a mention in Sportscar magazine in their solo nationals coverage.

Oooooh, and I made Say What with a fart joke. My mom is so proud.

I'm the man in the yellow hat.

Once I was featured in the local paper in the "People you should know" section.

I've performed at the Meadowlands during the 1995 Sweet 16/Elite 8 basketball games.

There was a rumor the I'm the Hedgehogs illegitimate love child.

(Really the best I can do is having been on a commercial for cost cutters in the 4th grade and having been say what Ted like 6 times....3 months in a row once. )

I'm happy to not be famous. I'd like to be less famous than I am right now in fact. Being famous is overrated - remember Ken Bone.

I used to be in a band, and came VERY close to breaking out of the Boston Post-Hardcore scene around 2006, but then our singer moved away and we packed it in. Literally the night of our 2nd to last ever show, a radio guy was in the crowd and wanted us to do an in-studio performance, and we had to tell him we were breaking up. That sucked.

A few years ago, I turned my attention to writing. Our XJR Challenge Jeep got us a feature with BangShift.com at the end of 2013, and I asked Brian Lohnes if they take reader submissions, and he said yes. But I didn't have the direction (or the guts) to put my stuff out there. After having a long conversation with Wallens at the $2014 Challenge after the banquet (Thanks man!), he gave me the confidence I needed to go for it.

So I did. I submitted a few stories via Brian and Dave Nutting (another BangShift staffer), and they liked them and posted them up!

My Stuff on BangShift

Then, after getting a few under my belt with some help, they made me a part time staffer!

More Stuff on BangShift

C/N: GRM staffers enabled me to be a writer. It's all their fault.

I was in the pilot of Denim Blues along with Sandra Oh. I think I was even in the opening credits.

I got in the paper so often when I was in university - never twice for the same reason, and never in the police blotter - that I was given a special award at graduation.

I drove a bus from one place to the other, one time. It was apparently fascinating to a few people in the world. SilverFleet even wrote it up on BangShift.

I've made it into the magazine several times. Two or three times into Say What, and a couple of times for actual real life things, like SanFord. The most recent is in the current issue.

Does that make me famous? Only in my own mind.

I was on TV for the 2007 and 2008 Runoffs. Had such a good battle in the 2008 SpecMiata race that I got more TV time than the leaders! I was also on TV for the 2012 Mid-Ohio Skip Barber MX-5 Cup Pro Race.

My half brother is a published author with literally dozens of copies sold.

My step father is a published author as well, some of his books sold a few thousand copies.

I guess being an author isn't the get rich quick scheme one might think.....

Holy 6 degrees of separation batman. I met R.J. and got a t-shirt and autograph at a strip club. It was such an honor to meet your potential father.

You've created a paradox. The last person to say that, made it in for saying that. However, you're talking about it, so it violates the first rule of say what. Come to think of it...thr other person did too...

Dammit now my head hurts.
