Lawn mower, or lawn/bushes/shoe mower?

Especially when you park between 2 cars Guess who doesn't need to have a pass or park all the way over in the visitor's area anymore?

They should find a new company. I only passed on one in the 5 years I did it, because it was chained to a fence.

HOAs and Coop associatons are some of the worst people for parking enforcement. They want everyone who doesn't live there towed, everyone who does live there but parks incorrectly (crooked, wrong space ect) towed, and they want it done now. Most have at least one Gladas Cravetz women who walks the lot at 2 am to drag me out of bed, and has a young neighbor they target. Then when things take a turn like this did, they blame the company they hired for doing the job the way they insisted it be done.

I used to do a complex in Garden City. A women would call constantly. I got there and there was a resident's car in the wrong spot. I went to chech the spot it should have been in first and it his spot was blocked I would have towed the non-resident. Sure enough that was the case. I moved the offending car, and then moved the residents car into his proper space and began to leave with the non-resident's car. This old woman came out and boxed me in until the police arrived and insisted I be arrested for breach of contract because I wasn't towing the car she called me to tow. The cops told her to stop calling them, but at the end of the year they replaced us because she was very unsatisfied.

I know, it's hard to believe I could have been such scum. One of the weekends leading up to my wedding I towed 31 cars in 40 hours.

Wally, did you enjoy being a tow truck driver? It seems like a pretty "exciting" job, especially if you live in an area with very heavy enforcement. What kind of truck did you have? Most of them around here are diesel F-series trucks; a few Isuzu NPR's as well.

I had a good time with it and a ton of stories to go with it. Impounds were just part of the job, and we mostly stuck to places with real problems, like being overrun by commuters leaving there cars all day, not the 5 minute pain in the ass stuff. I also did work for a few specialty shops in the area so I've moved a lot of neat stuff and we did alot of Roadside assistace for new cars and tows for repair shops. I always had flatbeds, starting with a Ford Superduty, then a ex NYC Chevy C-60, Nothing like trying to run off with someones new Porsche with a straight six. Finally I got a 4700 International with loads of chrome lights, and striping. It wasn't as fast as taking cars with a self loading wrecker, but I worked quick and could take two at a time,

I honestly wouldn't mind as much if my car was taken by a flatbed. Those self-loaders though just seem sketchy as all-get-out.

UPDATE

dolly man said:APS is threatening legal action and sending him threats telling him to send them his attorney's information... though he hasn't received anything actually written by an attorney. Because of this, he is laying low while he confers with his attorney. He is continuing to discuss the situation with a variety of news outlets, and as the story spreads it becomes more and more likely that someone is going to pick it up. He will be back with updates as soon as he gets the okay legally.
