The autocross this weekend is named "Pancakes & Pylons". I learned there is not going to be any pancakes.

I'm doing a track day in a few weeks in the CSPish Miata, got anything in a 225/45-15 or similar?
I've scheduled my time off this summer (three straight weeks with a week in Cancun and a week in Florida in there). I need to figure out what other weeks I want to take off because that still leaves me 12 days of "use or lose".
I became a frequent flyer last year with United. Built status, always got a good seat, occasional upgrades. I moved to another city, and have to start over with a new airline. In a middle seat at the back of the plane now.
Quickly planning out a deck install for the house in case I need a quick sale to move jobs. My house is the "last" without a deck in my new HOA...
Finally broke down and went to the eye doctor. Had to get reading glasses.
I keep misjudging distances to things on my drsk and workbench, knocking things over.....
My last issue of GRM under this subscription, and the free issue I got when I joined SCCA are the same issue.
The $3.99 can of R134a refrigerant that I bought today doesn't work with the dispenser / gauge that I already own. I'm absolutely crushed.
I'm falling out of love with my Miata. I've owned it for 4 years now and taken it from stock to CSP lite. And in so doing I don't really enjoy driving it any more. It's too stiff, too loud, still slow, too much effort. She's become a pretty serious autocross weapon for local events (nationals are a whole nuther issue), but I've gotten to where I hate changing tires. I'm about ready to throw in the towel, sell it and get something for H-street that I have to leave alone. Or become a full time co-driver and mooch rides for a year or two (I tow the club trailer, I'll always be there).
My smoker may be on it's last season.
Short of spending challenge money, I can't buy a suitable replacement, so I have to build one.
I'm so annoyed with the asymmetrical communication with the people who get my money, I'm thinking about bouncing email with "noreply" in the local part of the from field.
"Attention customer, we're notifying you of something that isn't right. We figure we're done here with this email, and if you don't like it, you can take your finger and use it to figure out which button you need to hit to get someone who will misinterpret your issue and try to sell you something before transferring you to the next person to mishandle your issue."
Hell no, that is not ok.
Just had a lobster taco and a sweet & spicy orange chicken taco from a food truck. I can never have tacos anywhere else any more. They just won't match up. * cue post-coital sound effects *

Absolutely not true. If you live a reasonable distance from a Jimmy Hula's Food Nirvana you can get tacos that will knock your socks off at least as well as the best taco trucks. It's only a first world problem if you don't have a Jimmy Hula's near you.

Well, I live nowhere near a Jimmy Hula's Food Nirvana, in fact, I had never even heard of Jimmy Hula's Food Nirvana until now. So, still First World Problem status.

Yeah. Clear the other end of the eastern seaboard from me, being that I'm in NY.
My favorite part was the one girl from HR at work tried to give me E36 M3 over my choice of tacos, saying that they were "kinda weird" and I absolutely fired back and gave her what-for.

When I traveled a lot those dinners were like a reward for being on the road. I figure I missed 3-1/2 years of home life over a 14 year span.
Sometimes I arranged my hotel near a restaurant I liked - Fenton, Missouri? Great Chinese place within walking distance.

Makes sense. I have once picked a run at work because Saturdays I could take my meal at a really good German restaurant, and the rest of the week at a decent pizzaria.
The parkway is stopped dead and I'm in the exact spot where my satellite radio loses its signal. Now I have to lean over to plug in my iPod.
The Miata is sold. The guy is on his way over now with cash. I feel conflicted selling it but I know it's the right thing to do. He's giving me a few hundred more than I had originally thrown out as a number (I'm a negotiator!) but it's still just barely a break even proposition with all the money I've poured into it over the past 4 years.
Autotrader.com doesn't work anymore on my laptop, desktop, or tablet. Now I can't browse what interesting cars I can questionably afford to buy that I don't really need since I already have five.
