My son saw them a few weeks ago.

Heard of? Got 'em right here. Although the best Canadian band you've never heard of is actually the Bourbon Tabernacle Choir.
And I went to high school with Alanis Morisette. Got an autographed copy of this one
If we're playing Toronto songs, how about Spadina Bus from the Shuffle Demons? Fantastic live show, BTW.
Unfortunately, "I hate T.O." from the Jivewires is not available online.
Love the Shuffle demons
If we're talking obscure Canadian music, lest we forget the Look people
I'll have to dig this cd up tomorrow and put it back in rotation

Awesome. Posted that here a few times. Didn't go over well
If you were either a hipster or into ska in the 90's, you knew who King Apparatus was.
My cousin on lead guitar in the black hat. If I knew he was going to play in a ska band, I probably would never have jammed with him

I was there too.. It was a great show. I don't understand how. The Tea Party didn't "break on thru to the other side". (what I mean is get popular in the US...) Also not the political Tea Party...

I'm not sure hipsters had been invented when King Apparatus was around. I was more of a Planet Smashers fan.

If they had called it the "Coffee Party" they would have done better here......

Did the US ever get the "melts in your mouth, not in your hands" commercials for M&Ms? Canadian Coke is made with cane sugar, too. Tastes more like the Mexican stuff. Great when ice cold, not so good when warm. But don't think you'll ever find fountain drinks at a gas station, so no ice for you. Did you know that Canadian Miatas have a temperature gauge that sits just above centre? The US ones sit just under center. The cars run at the same temp. My theory is that Canadians are afraid of freezing to death while Americans are scared of overheating.
If only our Coke was made with cane sugar. Ours is made with good old fashioned glucose-fructose. I'd give my left arm for Mexican Coca-Cola up here.

Ummm. These Smarties came first...
1937 versus 1949 for those nasty chalky things.
OK, which one of you pranked me last night? Someone with an asian accent yelled at me for not shipping to Canadialand. Like, top of his lungs "YOU WEBSITE SUCK! YOU WASTE TIME! YOU WASTE MY TIME! YOU SUCK YOU WEBSITE SUCK!"
I hung up the phone laughing because it had to be a prank.... right?
