Did anyone else try to read the opening credits as they were "censoring" parts of it?
I have nothing to add except that I talked swmbo into going to watch Godzilla and Amazing Spiderman 2 at the drive in for my birthday.
i glad to hear that it was a decent movie. when i was a kid i use to love all the old godzilla movies, although i would fast forward past all the japanese mumbo jumbo they had before the action parts haha When it comes to godzilla i dont expect a real deep story, im just looking for a good city destroying lizard movie

It was better than we expected. We thought it was a good popcorn flick. As we walked out we discussed what a positive economic impact monsters destroying a city is. Think of all the research, construction, and government jobs that would be created rebuilding San Francisco!
I dunno...getting destroyed didn't do much for New Orleans. Maybe because there was no monster involved?

Saw the movie Friday night. Without giving away too much, one of the city destroying monster fights takes place just a few blocks from my office. Part of me wanted to see my building squashed so I wouldn't have to come to work this morning.
