Thanks again to Hungary Bill for organizing 2nd annual GRM New Year Game! Without further ado, lets see some pictures of the swag.

A suspicious package full of awesome was delivered to my office earlier today.. Thanks secret Santa!

Large metric crescent wrench!
Anodized valve stem caps!
1 Qt of 20w-50 oil ...I already fed it to the Saturn
Metal straps! Some sort of fabric strap! An eyelet!
And last but not least.. a 7" cut off blade!

Man I got to figure oh what I am sending and get it out.

I came home from the junkyard and found a box at my door!

I was expecting broken Neon parts before I opened it.

Some repair manuals (is that a hint that I should move to MF class)?
Oil filters
gloves
exhaust hangar bushings (that I actually need for a certain vehicle)
Small filter and switch
Bearing race/lug nut snowman ornament!

That fabric looks like figerglass wrap for headers etc. Hard to be certian from the picure though.

Apparently I'm a moron..

My neighbor who knows nothing about cars looked at the fabric and said it was to wrap headers... Then he pointed out the steel straps are to secure the wrap. I felt like a complete dunce

What makes it worse is I was I'm fixing to order some header wrap...

Pretty cool that someone properly shipped you a cat.

Looks as if I missed a good opportunity to get rid of that half roll of header wrap that I've had in the basement since 2006...

A box of awesome showed up at the house today from the wonderful state of Michigan. I actually passed within 40 miles of Jackson this past summer.

Die grinder, a bunch of lights (I love lights!), pliers, speed bleeders (yes!), a couple of gaskets, a bottle cap that says "rock", a magnaflow sticker, a multimeter, a knife, various sockets, wd40, a "passionate about wood" beer coozie (lulz), and a Saab BOV atop a Washington license plate.

Thanks opposite side of the country secret santa! Now I need to turbo something and add more lights to the rally car.

I'm currently away from my desk, but Mrs. Hungary informed me that our package was put in the mail Monday. I can't wait to see what comes our way in return.

Thanks Santa! I've always wanted a gopro or similar but have been too cheap to buy one.

Damn, I need to add to my pile of stuff before sending it off tomorrow. These hauls are huge!

I did not send as much as these but I tried to customize what I sent after doing a little Google/GRM search of my recipient.

Secret Santa came today! The box included:

A couple patches, some Porsche-related stickers, a couple pins, and a magnet.

Not sure if having these is a felony or not, but

four very official looking license plates

A Lotus DVD, a mini Europa, Mustang postage stamp, some trophy plates for autocrosses in 2004 and 2005, a whistle, a Subie sticker sheet, a knife from Sweeden, and a bladed money clip.

Fun facts. That piston was a regift from last year (sorry Swank Force One!). I have another 12 of those locking lug nuts somewhere in my garage but couldn't find them in time so you'll have to settle for 4. Also, those amber covers will snap onto most LED light bars and make them horrible!

holy crap. These are really nice hauls. I feel bad that i was just going to throw some rusty spider web covered trailer lights in a box if I had participated! Gotta make a note for next year...

Three West Germany 12 and 13MM Combination wrenches

and Seven red reflectors.
