Resurrecting this thread for the holiday shopping season. Since 2016 has turned into the year of appliances for me, I might as well end on a high note.
Think this is the one I'm buying Seeing lots of black friday appliance deals, but I think this Frigidaire is taking the lead. The price is right, I really like both big burners being up front as well.
It's either going to be this stove or another P71 next weekend. I might manage to swing both.
Of course, my pellet stove feeder motor died Tuesday, so that's a whole other problem that needs dealt with, but I'll have almost all new appliances in this house for the first time...ever.
I bought a Samsung, it's alright. I like the convection oven bit.
If I had more money, I'd go Induction.
i have the frigidaire that's a couple models up from that one with the larger oven and the keep warm 5th burner in the back middle. think it was $700 on sale. 8 years in all it's needed is a new glass top because my wife left the burner on high for an hour with a dry pan on it and the glass fused to some of the pan and cracked. it was about $129 shipped for the top.
i like their appliances, but am not brand loyal by any means with them.

We bought the Kenmore Elite version of this Frigidaire Dual Fuel oven about 10 years ago. Not one single problem! We love it!

Nice, that looks like a winner.
Word of warning to all with little crawling age kiddos (yes, you too) Take note of the space between the bottom drawer and the oven door. It's just the right size and height for curious little fingers and while the oven door isn't too hot (insulated) the actual chassis of the oven WILL deliver 2nd degree burns to tiny fingertips.
When I bought my house, it already had an Induction Cooktop. I had no experience and had never liked Electric but always had gas.
I love my induction and will never go back!
My favorite feature is the fact that when you turn it off, its off and cool. Its great with toddler hands in the house.

When I was 3, I made the brilliant decision to touch the orange burner, because orange... Obviously, not my best decision in life.
But I never thought about the frame.. She has been in the cupboards constantly, and loves to touch the warm door which scares me. I'll put some sort of molding or cover over any exposed framework or anywhere I notice gets hot.
I'm really happy she understands "hot" and isn't trying to grab to flame in the pellet stove window this winter like last year. I swear, for the first year, babies are suicidal.

If you get a coil burner, get the upgraded drip pans - not foil.
And make sure you actually can get said fitted drip pans before buying the stove, like my mother didn't. Apparently Whirlpool doesn't make them for all their stoves.
