I listened to the whole thing, and I can tell you that the technical information he presented about smart meters was entirely factually accurate.

Police have been using good old fashioned dumb meters to bust pot growers for many years though.

Regarding the internet, the novelty has long since worn off. It's way too mainstream. We need an "alternate internet"--something completely new and edgy.
