the "drinking" part comes in when you take a drink every time you see a reference to the former hosts of the show...

their contracts were also up for renewal, and they stated that they weren't doing the show without Clarkson...

looking at the way it went down, it seems kind of silly to start a season of a show when all 3 of it's hosts have contracts that are up right in the middle of it..
