Ok, somebody please translate this ad for me LOL. Is this some sort of uber-cool stuff that I'm oblivious to because I'm almost 50?
My guess would be some un-verified talk-to-text for the ad. My translation: Runs damn good. Cats all right. (Something, could be has, or needs) wheels and tires and a battery.

Baby #2 came and not matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get the infant seat behind me in a way I could still drive. So it became a Honda Odyssey, and I was sad.
Regarding the mustang. Fox prices are up, I'd look at SN-95. Also considering you have younger driver you worry about, 1999 was when they started coming with traction control. 99+ also gets you PI heads on the engine for way better power out of an affordable GT. I think you are going to find a way better deal on a useable car shopping a 1999-2004 than you will shopping for a foxbody (79-93). Plus, the 4.6's seem to do high miles better than the 302's.
I've had my 97 since 2002. With traction control, I don't see a V8 mustang as any more dangerous than most modern things if your daughter is fairly responsible and snow isn't a concern.
Not to squash the fun, but...
Earlier you mentioned 17yr daughter and 15 yr son. That makes me think, "be careful what you add to the fleet from a high insurance perspective." Adding something notorious like a Mustang or a 350z could do much more to your rates than something more "pedestrian" like a ole Accord Coupe.

Keith's Miata is ~25k on. Bat right now...
Are you willing to do a project if it'll be dead nuts reliable once built?
Because a K24 swapped RX8 would check all the boxes.

I just test drove a 2003 boxster. I enjoyed it. It looked slightly less annoying to work on than a mini.
