That's him, he comes to the local cars and coffee, I remember him from his classic mini and his 246 Dino, I always though that had to be the biggest swing between 2 cars that the same guy owned. Nice guy in person, but rubs some people the wrong way because he doesn't care what he says most of the time. He's the one that got me started lurking here.
He has a 246 Dino? Damn, I knew he had an R8, but not the Dino. Personally, I thought the ban and total account erasure was overboard. He had a lot to offer and was the sole reason I actually (successfully) disputed carfax and autocheck entries on a high end car that really helped the value.
I like Datsun a lot and miss him. He was the reason my wife and I got on the Dave Ramsey plan and got out of debt.

Hes a brilliant guy. I have to respect his honesty even if I don't like it. I just want to tell him florida is doing just fine.... I never had a problem with him. Then again, I don't have a problem with anyone here really. But there was rules, and he unfortunately violated them. Im sure he was warned plenty, and given what I know, he was like whatever and did him.
Great example of why an Ignore option would be nice.

I know he had it for at least 5 years as it was at one of the first cars and coffee meets I went to. I just asked someone if he still had it and found out he donated it to make a wish earlier this year.

That's one hell of a donation. Those cars are serious money these days.
We've lost a considerable amount of the character of the board over the last couple years. With people fading away of their own accord, getting banned and passing away way to early. I'm glad to see new people coming on board and getting more involved. It's a better place when people bring different viewpoints.

For the most part we're all adults here. One of the many facts of life is not everyone shares the same viewpoint, and getting upset about that is pretty redundant.
There have been plenty of forums I've been on where as soon as I see a users name I'll just scroll past it.
It's just not worth the time to read, and even less so to get upset about.
Life is full of stuff you don't like or don't agree with, be your own ignore function. Why burn yourself up over it?
This popped up on my FB feed. Seemed revalant, not to mention funny.
