Just making sure everyone is ok. Had some really strong winds and the only thing that was damaged was my fence. It looks like they have passed.
Hope all the guys in the Peoria, IL area are ok, I know a Tornado came down over there.

It's quiet here in central KY. Just getting irritated at the local channel interrupting the F1 race every 5-10 minutes lol.
Currently in Perry,GA on I-75 north. 11 hours of driving ahead straight up 75 to get to Ohio after the challenge.
Checking in from north central Indiana......we have finished prepping for this crap(grain augers down, vehicles moved indoors, doors locked down, etc). We are about 1/2-1hr from this passing through. So wish us luck.
The_Jed and I are ok in Pekin IL. We had one touchdown a couple blocks away from our house and can't really get out of our neighborhood.
I was wondering about you guys, I'm glad you're ok. I heard about the Tornado in Pekin and Washington.
Hoping all is well with everyone. Storm is moving in my direction now, with tornado warnings a county away.
Fortunately, I am hunkered-down at BWW, where the beer can still flow even if the power goes out.
And, the registers won't work, so the beer would be free!!!
Nothing major here in SW MI. A lot of rain, some pretty strong winds and a few power flickers. Unfortunately, my yard clean up (which took a good part of the day yesterday) was pretty much wasted. Nothing swirling or flying and the lights are still on, so I'm considering us lucky.
We just came out of the basement here after watching a rotating wall cloud go over the homestead......we haven't seen any damage yet, but our anemometer was ripped off of the roof. Last reading recorded was 98 knots.
Kokomo and Lebanon were both hit, and hit hard by the looks of it.
I left Gainesville yesterday about 4 and stayed in Marietta last night. I'm in Chattanooga about to head home. Decided to stay here for the afternoon to avoid driving through it.
About a week ago following the Phillipine's typhoon the National Weather Service long range prediction for this weekend/ early week was modeled. With the possibility of an arctic cold front western Maryland could receive 30" of snow. Pittsburgh 12". My town 18".
With warmer temps this is what we get.

Probably a good idea......they were tracking large tornadoes across southern Indiana from just north of Evansville to greensburg in the east.
Just got out of the basement myself. Heard a rumblin' outside, looked out the window and couldn't see across the street. Seems to have passed quickly though. Heads up Saline and Ann Arbor areas!
Grand Rapids: Some very heavy rain and wind for about 30 minutes here. No damage here, minus the fact I need to rerake the leaves.
North of us by 20-30 minutes was a tornado touch down.
Clearing skies, light rain, fairly calm here at this point. I heard that the storm sirens were going off a few miles west of here, though so we may still have some action.
Ok here on the IL/IN border, though a small town got flattened about 20-miles west. I heard there were no deaths though.
My cousin lives about a block away from where the Pekin tornado hit, they were fine.
A stick blew down in my back yard, but most the area lost power for a good hour or so. A squirrel was injured.
