That... sucks, man.

All I can say is if you drink lots of carbonated beverages, knock it off.

That is a shame, a very debilatating condition. Drink a lot of water, it seems to help several arthiritis victims that I know. I had gout that I keep under control with .5 gallon of orange juice, .5-1 gallon of water and 2-3 pots of tea per day. It keeps one's body pretty well flushed out of toxins.

I turn 49 years old this year and I notice I have my father's pudgy fingers. These are the same fingers my 5'1" Italian grandmother had too.

I also wanted to go yell at some kids the other day to get away from my car. "Get off my lawn"

I had an archaeology prof in college who, upon discovering one of the students in the class was 27, said "Beware, your body turns on you when you hit 30." maybe he should've said 40! My dad says it's 60, but he's the kind of guy who works all day with a broken hand because going to the doc in the morning (when it broke) would mean less work can get done that day, so pain tolerance might be a factor. must be different for everyone.

I turn 66 in a few weeks. I think 60 was my turning point. Since then, i can almost watch parts fall off, like my old truck. Worked on the brakes on my Sentra last month, it took a week for the pain in my legs to go away.

I'm 65 and have had what is classified as severe arthritis in my neck and back for over 20 years as the result of an accident way back in 74. I regularly take MSM and would take glucosamine and chondroitin if I didn't have a shellfish allergy. YMMV, but staying physically active and eating a basically healthy diet in addition to the MSM work for me. If you look at my sig, you can see that it seems to be working.

No arthritis here, just getting older and out of shape. I spent the day installing this:

It's 21 feet wide and almost 10 feet tall. I hurt all over.

And the taste will make you forget you hurt. It's kinda like stepping on someone's toe to make them not notice their hand hurts.

I have the book the Bragg daughter wrote about ACV. I also have this same bottle. I can jump on the band wagon that it helps.

I mix it with Italian salad dressing, and put it on my salads. Helps hide the taste.

I have degenerative disc disease and arthritis. Slipped on the ice right after my 40th and was partially paralyzed from the waist down. Had fusion surgery. 10 years later, a lot of pain, PT and perseverance, and I can walk, drive a manual (still can't heal & toe though).

Stuff may take longer, and need more recovery time, but it is STILL WORTH DOING.

I have the same "arthritis like" pain in my spine....it comes and goes, so I'm not really sure if it is arthritis. BOTH of my folks have had arthritis for years/decades, my father would NOT let it slow him down, he worked until he was nearly 86 and still works around the house. I hope I never get the type of arthritis he has, the first really bad problem it gave him was an inability to turn the ignition key to start the car. I had a start pushbutton put in both his cars LONG before they were available from the factory. His other problem? His joints are so ....twisted up in his fingers that eatting is difficult and I think so is holding the steering wheel of the car. Yes, at 90, my father still drives. Amazing, the arthritis hasn't SEEMED to affect his legs/knees all that much.

For me, I get pains in my arms/shoulders like I've been zapped by a cattle prod.

I have hereditary gout, and it started in my late 20's! I changed my diet, lost weight, gave up beer and red wine and some food I loved, and still had little episodes on occasion. I threw this in the mix and haven't had it since. It also makes me fee very "vital" in a way I think I can tell, call it a seat of the pants HP increase thats probably in reality like 0.5 net gain, but I'll take it.

I recommend the Bragg's to everyone with joint pain of any kind.

Really? I've heard this, but just dismissed it as snake oil. It really works? My mother has terrible arthritis, so far I've been lucky enough just to get the occasional aches on cold mornings. I know that drinking plenty of fluid is supposed to help. My mother has always been very overweight - which puts a lot of stress on her joints. Although the doc tells me I can probably look forward to future arthritis pain, I'm hoping that staying fit and trim will help keep it at bay as long as possible.

Bragg rules.

The health benefits are debatable (at least when compared to actual medicine), but theoretically it should be a good "home remedy" for joint pain because the malic acid in the vinegar is good at dissolving the uric acid crystals that cause gout and joint pain. It can also raise the net acidity of your digestive tract, which is good for fighting intestinal bacteria. We mix in a few drops with our birds' water for that very reason. Captive birds (all birds, really) are super susceptible to intestinal parasites and bacteria.

But even if it wasn't good for anything, it's still, by far, the best cider vinegar out there. The flavor is just awesome. It's got that vinegar bite without the sourness of most vinegars, if that makes sense. Any recipe calling for cider vinegar will be better if you use this stuff.
