I have a 79 chevette that is in near perfect condition, all original, 60,xxx miles stays detailed inside and out, 3rd owner, ect. ect. I get a lot of compliments and people try to buy it every day. Before you stop reading this is not just a post to brag about my car. Today on a local car forum there was a thread titled 'MrDontPlay check this out' Inside there was a link to a craigslist ad. I thought it was funny.

May we see the link? The rest of us might find it funny too... unless I'm missing something else here.
Was it a wooden Chevette anniversary gift?
Wait until you get drunk enough to burn your car down in a Gainesville parking lot. THEN the forum guys will start sending you the good links.
Oops link didn't work

would be funny if someone generously took the time to list Mrdontplays car on craigslist for him
a) assuming it was your car in the craigslist post, yes - take it as a compliment.
b) I get a lot of compliments and people try to buy it every day. So, name your price!
There is almost always a price.
"Dear Craigslist Guy: Thank you for your appreciation of my classic Chevette. I can't believe you found me through Craigslist!!
As you know, these cars were not appreciated when new and were beaten like rented mules and driven into the ground. As a result, nearly all have been crushed long ago. I believe mine to be one of the last remaining survivors. I think that, in a few years, these cars will see rapid appreciation, much like the classic Mini and original Beetle. I'm reluctantly considering parting with it for an offer over $20,000 or possible trade for a late model Corvette. Sincerely, mrdontplay."
I'm just sayin' ... there's usually a price.
