Oh heck yeah!
Congratulations! I've worked for a few startups and very few of them actually get to profitability let alone IPO or get acquired.
Yesterday I talked with health insurance advisor. Today I'm meeting with a new financial guy, and next Monday I'm meeting with my current guy. Putting things in place to retire at 57.
Did I mention I'm currently 57? Hell yeah berkeley yeah.

If you want another financial guy's input I'd be happy to meet. Either way, congrats on the deal and impending retirement!

I wasn't sure if it was a complementary or competing approach. I have a family friend in the bio-med tech start up space for the last 40 years. I know how much work it is, especially all the regulations and certification. Amazing job, and well earned retirement!

After running the numbers in their current (ie rough estimate) form, dude says to me "You don't have to go back to the office." ;-)
