the 454 is awesome.
i sold the 454 out of my 3/4 ton parts burb for $600 with unknown problems other than it turned over but wouldn't start and it was overheated. people love big blocks.
i keep thinking i should pull the 454 out of my 1 ton dually and put in my shortbed 5 speed half ton and make it like a red 454SS.
back to burbs, if i could find a clean 67-72 i would snatch it up in a heartbeat. they are so cool, but i still prefer the 92-94 for overall looks, reliability, cost of ownership, and i really prefer the interior to the newer ones.
