Yeah I know it's one happy car. But the grin's growing on me, and you don't see it when you're behind the wheel. I do prefer the grille on the standard 3 compared to the Speed3, but I don't know if I'll be willing to source parts and make the switch on a new car, assuming it's an even swap. Odds are I'll live with it however it shows up at the dealer, at least for the first couple years, then we'll see what the aftermarket fiddlers come up with.
Lately I have been thinking that I would not mind a 5 door Ford Aspire running about 12 psi through a BP engine...

Right now, I'm lusting after a car one of my region members has:
'91 Civic. AWD conversion. Turbocharged. Scary-fast. He posted a video of a night time test drive... the speedo needle moves faster than the tach in my car...
It's even for sale right now... $9500... He's had it for a couple of months (doesn't keep cars for long - this one is currently # 98)
Of course, since both of my drivers are slow-azz diesels... I'm lusting for just about anything that would be fun to drive...
Or a Studebaker Hawk with the same treatment.
I REALLY want to do a radical engine swap in an Audi TT using a 3800 Supercharged engine minus the supercharged but add two DSM turbos, and a Getrag 5 speed.

My permanent lusts...
For a daily driver:
For a weekend car:
I can't have either, unless I import the former. They are bloody cheap too, £3500 ($5400) for a low mileage Accord R.
You'll have more chance of importing the latter rather the former, at least sooner.
I know it's all wrong, but this one on BaT is having me count the pennies[1]. Needs something like a Corvette six speed box though: http://bringatrailer.com/2010/02/09/yankee-power-1963-ferrari-250-gte-v8
[1] The result being, as usual "not enough"

Or I could just go to England and live there for a while. My passport says EU on the cover, haven't really made much use of it.

Geez, listen to all the whiners in that BaT post .
Back on topic, I'm trying to wrangle me a deal on an Alfasud.
Not quite that one, though.
