Man, and I thought finding a Mark VII toy was hard! Every yeah I get a Lincoln Mark toy for my nephew Lincoln Mark. This year he's turning 8 and I've got nuthin. I keep an eBay search going but only 1 in the past year - granted I've been slacking lately. Does anyone know where I might find a bit of 8 for him??

Thanks for that info. I drove one once, it was a fun car and what convinced me to get a RWD again (powerslide), that's too bad they didn't make toys of them.
I messaged the dude from Shapeways to see about getting a fine quality but in 1:64 with the wheels missing so I can poke some in there. We shall see.
Edit - Never mind. This was junk...

At some point, somebody was making stock resin bodies for 1:24 or 1:25 scale model guys. My dad had one. They were pretty rough, but recognizable:
They're probably about impossible to find, but they do exist
I deleted my earlier post since what I found was a TKM model.
From commments on a couple of modeling forums, the TKM kits are so crude that they are un-buildable and have been for many years.
That seemed a bit easier to find than the MKVII.
In reply to CJ (FS) :
Those kits were awful. I bought a Cadillac from them that looked like it was carved from melting butter
Sheesh, $60 shipped and in fine detail. Maybe this WASN'T so much easier than the MKVII. His present is already going to be late; I might as well look a little longer to see if *anything* else shows up
In reply to P3PPY :
Would he like this emblem?
Ha. I don't see why not! Is that yours?
and did you guys know the Mark VIII set a land speed record?
I could have sworn there was a Mark VIII Hotwheels, but all my searching is fruitless.
Hey so before I fork over $60 to this dude, does anyone here have a 3D printer and any better of a price??
How accurate does it need to be?
I know it's not the right one and you already got him this body BUT Auto World is releasing an all new 1/64 casting of the Mark V!!
Figured you'd want to know.
