Lets say you see someone your attracted to (opposite or same gender, doesn't matter) and your attracted to their outward appearances. As someone who knows both genders, do you still get wierded out when you find out the person you were attracted to is not the gender you assumed them to be?
I always wondered if LGBT folks were not only better at seeing through gender manipulations, but also more comfortable with whatever the person they were attracted to really was.
Obviously some folks want to be the opposite gender, completely. They don't want anyone to have any doubts, clothed or not. Others are perfectly fine playing two roles at the same time.
Also, does hormone therapy change your level of attraction to those of the same (or opposite) sex? I know that the gay/lesbian community is generally against any idea that hormones have any affect on ones sexual orientation, but if your male and want to be female, and your attracted to females, will hormone therapy make you more attracted to women (just a boost in sex drive regardless of gender), or will you suddenly either by pheromones or psychologically be more attracted to men?

LOL like I said I didn't know. I thought your avatar was some kind of mazda
He he. With her old Mazda avatar, and talk of transformation, I just assumed she was an Autobot. (I keed, I keed. )

ok admittedly id forgotten my avatar was my car for a long time.
Yea, like forever.
Well, not as long as I've held onto this avatar. Which is also my screen background. And was takend a LOOOONG time ago.
Walk. you need it.
BTW, IMHO it takes a lot of guts to do what you do. It's great to see people who are so secure with who they actually are when the world is.... well... not exactly understanding.
Walk, and keey an eye on the stitches.

Alfa don't worry I'm moving around as much as I can. Dang I'm less than a week removed from major surgery and y'all are all over me to move around. 2 days and I go home hopefully.
No courage needed. If the world could feel the pain some people feel 99% of the hate and bigotry in the world would be gone. And I use science to convince those who don't believe in the emotional pain thing.

Besides I figure y'all like seeing my current avatar more than the car. But then again you all are a bunch of autophiles. So maybe next one will be me on the car?
Or even better, in the car, destroying cones.
Hope you feel better soon. Just amazes me from the physics end of things that such a surgery is possible(along with many other modern surgeries). If you don't mind me asking, how long of procedure is it? Can't imagine that it is all that quick. How long is the typical recovery?
..
...My three your old can pick out a subaru by the exhaust note as well.

You're completely outclassed anyways because you're a rookie. Although, many ladies classes are empty, so there wouldn't be any direct competition. If you have a lot of "random" mods, there is good chance you'd be the only one in your class.
*By "random", I don't mean that they were pointless, I just mean that they might be viewed as random to an autocross crowd.
If you have learned anything.......to heck with being out classed, does it really matter how someone classifies you? Go have fun driving the car, results be damned. You only compete against your own times. Autocrossing isn't about anybody else but yourself....unless you beat a friend with a much more powerful car, then you hold it over their head mercilessly.

then only other mod is the conversion to ford fusion coils and valve covers but i dont think that makes a bit of difference. just looks nicer.
Shoot, you might be able to run in one of the ST classes. But like they said, who gives a snot about classes, just go run! Run with the Porsche Club of America, they have a class for you, it's called "Non Porsche". That's the entire rule book!
As for the surgery, kudos to you for being YOU. I support LGBT and equality for everybody. I watched a special on the "reassignment" surgeries that was very informative, and quite interesting. It's amazing how much better people "fit" in themselves after.
I had two things, but they've both already been well-stated:
- Go give autocross a shot. Don't worry about classing or competitiveness 'til you get a feel for it.
- Heal up well and quickly!
And apparently, walk. If alfadriver says that one more time, I'm going to go for a walk, and the only thing I need to heal from is beer.

Oh and btw if I refer to you as dude or man, its not because I'm getting that mixed up, its because I called everybody dude or man, my girlfriend included. Unless we're in a professional relationship then its sir. My boss hates that. He wants to be a "dude".

Well y'all don't know my whole story. But I was able to assimilate and play the part that was expected of me very well. Did everything I was sposed to got a career. Got married. Bought a house. From all perspectives from outside I had a charmed life. But I had serious issues with who I was dating back to as long as I can remember. And no one ever listened or took me seriously when I brought them up. Its been a long journey. One in which I've lost a lot both financially and emotionally. However on in which I know exactly who I am. Who I'm sposed t be. And for the first time those 2 people are the same. I'm not talking money wise. I'm speaking purely from a personality and emotional sense of self. My cousin prob said it best after seein me last month for first time in 12 years. "Before tho u seemed like everything was perfect and happy. All one had to do was watch how in social situations to see u were very uncomfortable at all times and how interactions weren't natural for u. Now u just look very comfortable and how your interacting with everyone is easy for u now as opposed to forced"

Dude and man in those contexts do not offend me. Call me sir and I will slap u upside your head. I will say I'm not as sensitive about a lot of things as other transwomen are.
You seem to be well adjusted to who you are.
Good for you.
