Saturday night at the brewery or an after work event? Being a college town I am wondering how mobbed it will be.
Saturday nights are busy, but not crazy. We're not particularly a college bar. We're not in the hip stretch that college students bar-hop along.
Does Saturday night at Zauber work for everybody? Would Sunday be better?
Hell, tonight may work, too.
I could do Saturday or Sunday but not tonight, kid duty.
Saturday only for me. Tonight and Sunday I have to work events.
+1 for Saturday because I kinda live 2 1/2 hours away.
Saturday it is, then. What time? I'll be coming from the Zoo, so I'll probably be starving and the latkes have my interest.
I am good anytime after @2:30.
Let's say we start between 18:00-19:00 at Zauber's? That will give me plenty of time to get lost on my way from the zoo, but still have it early enough that those coming from a longer distance won't have to get home at 4 AM unless they want to.
I'll plan on getting there around 5.
Oops, counted my fingers wrong. 6 it is.
Hey, I'll try to finish up my garage move in time to make it to Zauber on Saturday!
Anybody want to make it to a 3pm Sunday gathering at my house? Brett_Murphy's planning to be there. No plans on activities other than poking at my project house and shop hell, checking out the new truck, and drinking beer and/or soda. I also think I'll order some Hound Dog's Pizza, that's one of my favorites. Any other ideas?
The house is in Worthington, OH, close to 161 and 315. Email me at my user name at gmail.com and I'll send you the address and directions and my phone number. Let me know if you're going to make it so I know how much pizza and beer to get.
A big thanks to Beer Baron for hosting me, EvanB and Rusted Busted Spit at the brewpub. We talked about cars and beer, go figure. I highly suggest the Portergeist if you ever get the chance to stop by Zauber's. It is seriously good stuff.
As a side note, they all seemed somewhat surprised I didn't pan the Chevy Cruze. As far as rentals go, it isn't bad, and if they gave it a bit more power, it might even be entertaining.

It wasn't the Chevy Cruz, per se. I'm surprised when any compact rental car gets a positive report.
I will attest under oath that the Cruze handles the traffic circles in the area with aplomb. It might not be a Miata, but it isn't bad.

Thanks for coming over! It was good to see you guys and fun to show off my "new" truck.
Le Chatelaine was also quite good. That Main Street area was pretty quaint, too.

Glad to hear you liked it!
I miss the heck out of that place.

Have you been to the larger chain, http://lamadeleine.com/locations/ ?
I think you will find the menu and general vibe to be similar and offered in your area.

I have not, but according to the website there is one near me. Need to go and see if I can get my fix!
Thanks!
