So we're planning on converting the back patio on the house (15' x 23') to a screened porch.
Have the project quoted out by a sunroom conversion company. SIP panel roof with shingles to match the house, sunspace weathermaster screens with sliding vinyl windows for winter use, a fireplace on one side with a television above. Big fan hanging from the ceiling.

Part of the project involves the wife and I picking out what sort of fireplace to put out there. We've got natural gas in the house, and so planning for a vent-free NG fireplace out on the patio too. Planning vent-free because it's cheaper and puts more BTUs into the patio for warmth in the late fall and early spring.
Anyone an expert on these things? Was thinking a Majestic Courtyard or a Majestic Vesper, but no idea if that's in the right ballpark. The sunroom contractor isn't an expert and says that picking the insert and hiring out the install is on us.
