Have any of you guys done business through the place?
Looks like a pretty good system for some bargains, almost too good to be true.

I bought a few things through them years ago. I Proxima projector and an H1 transfer case. both deals were good, and they were as described.
We've sold through it. Still sell through it in fact. It is what it appears to be. Dumping grounds for government surplus.
I love gov deals. I tend to buy completely random crap but I get it cheap. Got a lifecycle rower ($1500 on the used market) for $50 and just last week picked up 9 spare wheels and tires left over when a PD retired their Crown Vics. One set will go on the 52 Plymouth I'm fixing for a friend so he can drive it to GA on radials instead of the wide white bias plys and the other set will go on my CV Sport that Im taking on the Saints 2 Sinners rally so I can leave the Sport wheels at home in case anything happens to the car on the trip. I paid $200 for all 9 wheels and tires and the tires are brand new Firestone Firehawks.
Definitely good deals to be found but read all the fine print so you know time limits on pickup and such.
I knew a guy - neighbor of a friend - who bought a pair of 32" open-arc searchlights from the pre-internet version of govdeals, which was a hand typed mailing list that got sent around. What the description failed to mention is that both were mounted on nice Dodge half ton flatbeds. Score! He dismounted one of the lights, sold the truck, and rented the other out for store openings, etc. Made a decent amount of money for a minimal investment and some luck.
In the modern version with internet and digital photography, I think those days are over.

Nope. Father-in-law is still on the mailing lists for a number of off-line government auctions. Almost all federal.

Hell yeah! That isn't for Forza (even though I suspect you could make a PC version work) but I think Big rig sims might be fun.
Who's in eastern NY and loves P71s?

When I was a young lad I got on their mailing list. The stuff they sold was rediculous. I remember quite a few patrol boats, whale boats and larger boats. I'm still looking for those un-used WW II jeeps packed in cosmoline.

We had them on my ship. About three as I recall.
It's a good day in paradise, boys.

I read his book. It was very enjoyable.

Me too. It's only a few hours away. That's bad. Real bad.
