I remember years ago Voice of America broadcast across Europe a simple slow speed news show with simple words for English learners.

I am in a similar boat and really could use more than my pigeon spanish on my work travels. Thinking of trying to bring my kids into it as I think it will keep me on it as I'll be too annoyed by them chatting in a language I don't understand :)
