I went to a Catholic school for 10 years....and the nun in the original Blues Brothers flick, I had her and a few like her over the years.

It's still the first day of Lent, and I've whittled down the things I had intended to give up already from tv, and sweets, to just sweets.

Kinda almost yeah... The fish thing anyways. If you look back into it, the entire purpose of fish on Fridays was to help out the fishermen.

That kind of thing always made me mad. I'm from the coast, and consider fish better meat than anything other than pork.

My right-winger friends would LOL if they saw me bitching out my pseudo-vegetarian lib'rul friends for eating fish...

neither a Lenter or a Borrower be.....

I was a practicing catholic.. then I got it right and stopped. I do want to give up snow for lent though (I failed already, we had a dusting last night)
