I had an interesting conversation with a young active duty Marine yesterday. He was extremely upset about the embassy attacks. Seems that the embassy guards, all Marines, were not issued ammo for their rifles. Their pistols were loaded, though. Can someone explain this lunacy to me? Seems that this policy only makes them big blue targets.
