I see a platypus.
I suppose we could start a thread of thinly veiled boat insults......
Powerboating- makes your Ferrari restoration seem cheap.
Two stroke outboards- just what you need to make your Triumph seem reliable.
But that would be mean, and we are polite around here.
Margie- If you intend to go OUT in that thing, join one of the tow services. Like AAA for boaters. You break down, call them on your cell, they come and get you. Not very expensive, but calling for a tow is extremely expensive. Ask me how I learned about this. 25' Formula, breakdown cruise after an engine rebuild, turns out the alternator wasn't. Tried to restart the engine outside the Lauderdale ship channel, no juice. Girlfriend immediately fed the fish. Cost me 200.00 to get towed in less than 2 miles. Join the club.
In reply to Supercoupe:
No, the St. Johns. There's a launch into the St. John's about 40 minutes from their door step. Remember Haleigh Cummings? Gator food. Bodies DON'T last in the river, and are often not recovered at all.
I'm from the north, don't know too much about Florida waterways....but I can tell you about a few prime locations for dumping cement overboard in the tri-state area though....

I like the St. Johns...We were on there on a houseboat recently, and my parents got some nice pictures
If you have the urge to look at the others, they are here

Probably not.....that looks to be around 7 foot gator, and I expect that he was suffering from Black Knight Syndrome; i.e. he mistakenly thought he was up to challenging a much larger critter. I doubt he'll make the same mistake again.

V6 Buick I/O power?!
Cool. We all know what comes to mind concurrently with the words "Buick V6."
Turbo!
I'm sure it's full of rot, so I probalby won't want it. But it does look like my kind of project: quirky, ugly/awesome, cheap, fun.
